    Teaching Objectives
      The Graduate Institute of Curriculum and Instruction combines “global perspectives” and “local commitments” into our curriculum. Thus, we aim to cultivate: 

    (1) High school and college educational administrators, professionals, and researchers in multiple disciplines,

    (2) Professionals in course planning, design, implementation, and assessment, and

    (3) Cultural and educational industry planners, designers, and managers.
    • Master’s Program
      Develops academic research abilities according to global perspectives, facilitating local commitment to curriculum design and instruction among practitioners.
    • Professional Master’s Program
      Improves experienced teachers’ competence according to global perspectives, enabling them to make local commitments regarding curriculum reform and teaching innovation.
    • Cultural and Educational Innovation and Business and Management Credit Program
      Provides master’s students with fundamental knowledge of business operations and offers opportunities for practical business experience.
      The main purpose of our institute is to develop professionals with a global perspective and commitment to local education. Our institute has the first registered iEARN-Taiwan group member among graduate programs in education, thereby confirming our institute’s determination to connect with the world in the digital age.  
      Our institute uses not only a formal curriculum to achieve teaching objectives and develop core student competencies but also an informal curriculum, particularly to cultivate global vision. Furthermore, our institute aims to provide opportunities for authentic student learning by offering courses with field trips abroad and hosting international conferences and social events, at which foreign scholars are invited to speak. Moreover, to enhance student competence in communication and innovation, our institute also integrates technology into its curriculum development and instructional design.
